Playgroup Overview

Backyard Explorers Playgroup is a sensory play program inspired by Forest School principles, where children are free to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature, art, and sensory play. Whether it's jumping into piles of autumn leaves, playing in the snow, digging in the mud, or dancing in the rain, our activities change with the seasons, fostering a deep connection to the natural world.

Our outdoor play spaces include a climber, garden, digging zone, play kitchen, and sand table, all designed to encourage creative exploration. With small groups of just 4-5 children, we ensure each child has the space, attention, and freedom to choose their own adventures. This playgroup is perfect for families seeking gentle separation, homeschooling support, or a nurturing environment for children who thrive in intimate, small-group settings.
